Magicard, a worldwide leader in ID card manufacturing and a business unit of Ultra Electronics, the British security and defense group, announces the opening of its new office in the Airport Free Zone of Dubai, United Arab Emirates.

The new presence will enable Magicard to strengthen ties with dealers throughout the Middle East, India and Pakistan by providing high quality technical support and training. The office opening supports Magicard’s strategic aim of providing direct support for selected world markets. The new facility complements other Ultra Electronics Group businesses in Dubai and Abu Dhabi.

Thahir Kassim, formerly working for a partner has been appointed as Sales Manager to this new office. Thahir brings a comprehensive sales and technical expertise as well as an in-depth understanding of the local market.
